Jonathan & Collette's White and Green Wedding at Braxted Park
Jonathan and Collette married at Braxted Park in October 2024. Their brief was simple: all white and green. Simple briefs are often the most beautiful, because every flower has to earn its place. I chose delphiniums, hydrangeas, roses and carnations for a look that's timeless and elegant, with real height and texture.

A ceremony in the Orangery
The Orangery is one of my favourite rooms at Braxted Park: open, light and airy, just off the bridal suite. With so much natural light, white and green florals look completely at home there.
Tall gold stands topped with lush white arrangements framed the entrance to the aisle. On the registrar's table sat a low arrangement of white blooms and greenery. It was made in two halves, so that later it could sit either side of the couple's name on the top table: one design, carefully planned for two locations.

From the aisle to the Pavilion
Receptions at Braxted Park are held in the Pavilion, which is quite a distance from the Orangery. Rather than leave the ceremony flowers behind, we moved them. The two aisle arrangements became guest table centrepieces, and the two halves of the registrar's table design took their places either side of the "Mr & Mrs" sign on the top table.
Repurposing is one of the smartest ways to get more from your floral investment. At a venue like Braxted Park, though, it takes planning. It means knowing the timings, the distances and having extra hands to move everything while your guests enjoy their drinks.

Tall centrepieces for the Pavilion
The Pavilion is a big, beautiful space, with draped ceilings and chandeliers. It needs florals with presence. For Jonathan and Collette's guest tables, I designed tall gold stands topped with abundant arrangements of delphiniums, hydrangeas and roses. The delphiniums gave height and movement, and the hydrangeas gave volume, so the designs held their own beneath the chandeliers.

Bouquets and buttonholes
Collette's bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets followed the same white and green palette. Each was full and natural, and soft against the bridesmaids' taupe dresses. Jonathan's buttonhole and the groomsmen's buttonholes completed the look.

The flowers
Delphiniums: height and movement for the tall centrepieces
Hydrangeas: volume and texture
Roses: timeless elegance in every design
Carnations: softness and fullness, and wonderfully long-lasting
Mixed foliage: to keep everything feeling natural
Kind words from Collette and Jonathan
"Rosie did an amazing job on our wedding day. The bouquets were perfect and the centrepieces were amazing. Rosie definitely puts you at ease during the final consultation call a couple of weeks before the big day." (Collette)
"Rosie was absolutely fantastic in every possible way for our wedding. Her knowledge, expertise and service delivery were impeccable through the entire process. We were so pleased with the quality on our day and highly recommend Rosie as a supplier." (Jonathan)
